      Abstract

A case of maternal Bartter's syndrome is reported and prenatal management discussed. Close monitoring of serum potassium levels is essential. Patients with this syndrome may have an increased risk of developing intrauterine growth retardation. (Ann J OBSTET GYNECOL 1989;160:1225-6.)
