      Abstract

      Chown3, 4 has presented evidence of fetal hemorrhage into the maternal circulation. The work to be reported is an attempt to assess the relative frequency of such hemorrhage. Though such an occurrence had been postulated by others,18 proof was first obtained by Chown.
