The proportion of births at 36-38 weeks fell from 0.3329 before intervention (Jan. 2006-Aug. 2008) to 0.3076 postintervention. The proportion at 39-plus weeks increased from 0.5637 to 0.5917. The χ2 probabilities for 36-38 and 39-plus are both < 0.0001. 2% decrease in births 360/7 to 386/7 weeks and 2% increase in births 390/7 to 416/7 weeks. Approximately 1000 births moved to >390/7 weeks.
