Editorial board changes

Article Outline

With this issue, the Editors of the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology bid good bye to a long-time Associate Editor. Dr Alberto Manetta has been with the Journal for 13 years and in that time has made his mark with his hard work, energy, enthusiasm, and intellectual integrity. We bid him goodbye and thank him on behalf of the Journal, our authors, and our readers for his dedicated service and many contributions to the Journal.

At the same time, we welcome the addition of Dr Philip DiSaia as our new Associate Editor. Dr DiSaia, who is well known to many of our readers and authors, specializes in Gynecologic Oncology. He is the Dorothy Marsh Professor and Director of the Division of Gynecologic Oncology at the University of California Irvine, President of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Chair of the Gynecologic Oncology Group, holds numerous other appointments, and has received many academic distinctions and awards. Over his career he has served on the Editorial Boards of several scholarly journals. His addition to the Editorial Board of the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology brings great distinction to us. Dr DiSaia's imperative, in part, is to bring better balance to the Journal by attracting more papers in gynecology in general and gynecologic oncology in particular. On behalf of the full editorial board and our publisher, Elsevier, we extend a warm welcome to Dr DiSaia.
